Job Description
As the Head of Department, you will spearhead and manage a team of engineers, supervise project deliverables, and foster business growth and development. This role entails close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project success, sustain client relationships, and provide technical guidance. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and project success.
- Oversee project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure adherence to client expectations and company standards.
- Drive business growth and development by identifying opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and participating in business development activities.
- Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand project requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Maintain and cultivate strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service, addressing concerns, and providing innovative solutions.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to support project execution, problem-solving, and decision-making processes.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a track record of effectively leading teams and projects.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and teams concurrently while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships through exceptional service delivery and effective communication.
- Experience in business development and driving growth, including identifying opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and participating in business development activities.
