About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support our team in delivering projects on time, within budget, safely, and to required quality standards. As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist the Project Manager in ensuring successful project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely, and to required quality standards
Support project planning, coordination, and execution
Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery

Requirements

### Knowledge Required

Project management knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
Project management tools (CAD and MS Projects)
Contracts Management (FIDIC, GCC, NEC, JBCC)

### Competencies Required

Communication at multiple levels
Resource management
Problem solving
Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions
Work effectively in diverse team environment
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
Good communication skills, verbal and written, required
Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines
Ability to work regularly and dependably
Ability to function in a team environment

Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12)
National Diploma or B Degree in Electrical Engineering (Compulsory)
Project Management Qualification (Minimum NQF Level 6)
Project Management accreditation (SACPCMP and/or PMP)
