Job Summary
Are you a dependable and hard-working Electrician who thrives on delivering high-quality results and takes pride in their work?
We are currently seeking a skilled Qualified Electrician with a proven track record in residential, commercial, and solar installations to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about electrical systems, take safety seriously, and enjoy working on varied and challenging projects we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Complete solar and inverter installations, including wiring, testing, and commissioning of PV systems (hybrid and grid-tied).
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems, including tripping circuits and power failures.
- Install and upgrade distribution boards, wiring, switchgear, and other electrical components.
- Provide Electrical Compliance Certificates (COC).
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement site safety protocols.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and SANS regulations.
- Inspect and maintain tools and ensure proper stock procurement for job readiness.
- Collaborate with clients and team members, maintaining professionalism and clear communication throughout all projects.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Electrical Trade Test (Red Seal) Certified
- Matric (Grade 12) with N1N3 in Electrical Engineering disciplines
- Proven experience in solar PV installations (Sunsynk, Deye, Huawei, etc.)
- Solid experience in fault-finding, rewiring, and general maintenance
- Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Valid Working at Heights, Safety, and First Aid certificates (advantageous)
