About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Manager to join our team at Express Employment Professionals Midrand. As a key account developer, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with independent and major retail partners, identifying growth opportunities, and driving sales targets. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with independent and major retail partners.
- Identify growth opportunities with existing retail accounts and negotiate promotional campaigns pricing, and product replacement.
- Ensure all agreements, sales targets, and joint business plans are met.
- Implement the retail sales strategy aligned with overall company objectives.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure full alignment with retail partner strategies.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends with retail channels and propose counterstrategies.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage sales forecasting and stock planning for key accounts.
- Track, analyze, and report on key account performance and profitability.
- Work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure brand visibility in-store and online.
- Drive and support promotional campaigns, products launches, and seasonal retail activations.
- Conduct regular store visits (if applicable) to evaluate compliance, availability, and competitor presence.
