Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Drive execution of pricing, promotions, merchandising, and product launches
- Analyse sales performance trends and implement corrective action plans
- Identify opportunities to grow market share within the mass-market segment
Key Account Management
- Manage a large national retail partner relationship
- Maintain strong stakeholder engagement across regions
- Ensure alignment on sales targets, operational standards, and growth plans
Retail Operations Oversight
- Conduct regular store visits nationally to assess compliance and performance
- Oversee stock management, product availability, and merchandising standards
- Work closely with supply chain and operations to minimise stock-outs
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and manage large, geographically dispersed sales teams (100+ staff)
- Design and optimise commission structures
- Recruit, onboard, and continuously train high-volume sales agents
- Address underperformance efficiently and build a culture of accountability
Reporting & Market Intelligence
- Track KPIs including footfall, conversion, productivity, and sell-through
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and dashboards
- Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic sales insights
Requirements
- 8+ years retail sales experience in a mass-market consumer environment
- Minimum 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proven experience managing large teams
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
- Experience in FMCG, electronics, mobile devices, fashion, or similar sectors
