About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Site Manager to lead the removal and on-site welding of boiler coils during a major refinery shutdown. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, and execution of site activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with ASME/API codes and OHS standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day-to-day site operations, including the removal of existing boiler tubes/coils and the installation of new units.
- Manage fit-up, welding, NDT, PWHT, and final reinstatement.
- Liaise with refinery operations, maintenance teams, and third-party inspectors.
Requirements
- 810 years of mechanical construction experience specifically within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical sectors.
- Trade Qualification (Boilermaker/Mechanical) OR a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
- Deep understanding of boiler systems, on-site welding, NDT procedures, and refinery shutdown environments.
- Expert knowledge of Construction Regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

- Completed Trade Qualification (Boilermaker/Mechanical) or Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
