Job Title: Junior, Senior Field Guides Location: uThungulu District, Empangeni, Mkuze Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Lead Game Drives on a daily basis. Provide detailed information about the flora, fauna, and history of the area Ensure the safety and well-being of your guests Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner Maintain and clean equipment Required Qualifications: Game Drive Experience in big 5 area Strong communication skills. Zulu and/or French speaking is a plus Knowledge of local wildlife and geography First aid certification PrDP Catheseta or Seta Qualification Fgasa 1,2 or 3 are welcome, trails, back up Education: Matric and/or Tertiary education Experience: At least 1 year Experience and more Knowledge and Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Problem-solving skills Physical fitness Preferred Qualifications: Wildlife education at a FGASA or BUSHWISE or affiliated system Additional language proficiency Working Conditions: Outdoor work environment Potential for irregular hours, including weekends and holidays Physical demands, including walking and standing for extended periods
