<p>Intimate <strong>5* Safari Camp</strong> based close to <strong>Mkuze </strong>is looking for a <strong>Lodge Manager.</strong></p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p>Front of House Hospitality Management & F&B (FOH & Kitchen)</p><p>Month End Stock Takes & continuous stock control</p><p>Reservations/Reception</p><p>Finance, Admin, Stock Controls & Stocktaking</p><p>Housekeeping</p><p>Communicating with HODs on bookings information,</p><p>Maintenance</p><p>Management of maintenance staff and tasks planned and unplanned</p><p>HR</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Hospitality Diploma or tertiary qualification in Hotel Management</p><p>Previous work experience of at least 5 years in management roles in related lodge environments.</p><p>Management experience in luxury lodge environment</p><p>Focus of Guest experience delivery from each department</p><p>Systematic and strong with protocols</p><p>An understanding of budget control and financial management and planning for the future of the lodge</p><p>Hands on staff management and staff disciplinary process</p><p>Eye for detail and good all-rounder in all aspects of the lodge</p><p>Experience and ability to train staff</p><p>Reservations and front office administration & practices</p><p>Computer Literate</p><p>Fluent in written and spoken English</p><p>Drivers License valid PDP beneficial</p><p>Valid First Aid Certification is beneficial</p><p>South African Citizen</p><p>Physically fit, sober habits and in good health</p><p>Honest person with high sense of integrity</p><p>Strong leadership skills with a sense of ownership (accountability) and pride in work</p><p>Well groomed, good personal hygiene & presentable with a friendly personality</p><p>Strong work ethic, ability to work unsupervised, work flexible hours and extended hours.</p><p>Empathetic and compassionate personality</p><p>Good interpersonal skills</p><p>Self-motivation, enthusiasm, passion and energy</p><p>Excellent decision maker</p><p>Methodical work ethic with a high regard for attention to detail</p><p>Flexible attitude and willing to take on tasks as necessary</p><p>Excellent organizational and administrative skills</p><p><strong>Package on offer:</strong></p><p>Neg (DOE)</p><p>Live in (single freestanding accommodation)</p><p>Work Schedule: 7 days a month off (no cycles)</p>
