About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Wedding & Event Coordinator to join our team at Muldersdrift, where you will act as an ambassador for the brand, representing the hotel and wedding & events venue in the coordination of weddings & events. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients, ensuring seamless event execution, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle enquiries and walk-ins during the week as and when needed.
- Conduct weekend viewings or as operationally required.
- Once allocated with a bridal couple or function, create a master file and open a folder with all relevant documentation concerning the wedding / event.
- Liaise with clients, assist with any queries and manage weddings and functions from start to finish.
- Ensure that final appointments are done, function sheets and floor plans are completed accurately.
- Ensure the function sheet is up to date with all the latest information.
- Ensure all payment reminders are done, and payment is collected on time.
- Ensure recon is correct and sent to the finance department.
- Meet clients on the day of the wedding / function, ensuring that you double check that all requirements are met.
- Accurately communicate this information to the Duty and Function Managers.
