Hire Resolve’s is actively seeking a Unit Manager to join our client’s esteemed healthcare facility in the Eastern Cape. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional medical services and patient care.

As the Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the medical unit, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained and that the team operates efficiently and effectively. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in fostering a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the medical team, providing guidance and support to ensure quality patient care
• Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
• Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery
• Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance team performance
• Address and resolve any patient concerns or issues effectively
• Engage with stakeholders to promote best practices in patient care

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid South African Nursing Council (SANC) registration
• Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
• Relevant qualifications in healthcare management or administration will be an advantage
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care standards
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office and healthcare management software
