About the Role

The Lodge Manager at Wild Dreams Hospitality is a key leadership position responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and overseeing all aspects of lodge operations. This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a senior manager in a 5-star safari or boutique hotel environment, where you will be responsible for driving business growth while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a visible and hands-on host, meeting and engaging with guests daily to ensure a personalized and unforgettable stay.
  • Maintain the established standards of guest care, guest delight, and guest feedback management, always turning guest comments into opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond promptly and graciously to all guest queries, complaints, and special requests; use all feedback as a learning platform.
  • Act as the primary contact for high-profile guests, VIPs, travel agents, and media visits as required.
  • Conduct regular guest briefings and ensure all activities and experiences run seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a senior lodge management or guest services role in a 5-star safari or boutique hotel environment.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills: a natural motivator and team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of professionalism, emotional maturity, and flexibility.
  • Organized, with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid knowledge of lodge operations and luxury guest expectations.
  • Valid driver’s license and own transport essential.
  • Computer literate (MS Office Suite) and familiar with property management systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field required.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Lodge Manager to take the reins of our iconic property. As a visionary hospitality leader, you will be passionate about delivering world-class service, managing a complex operation, and embodying the spirit of comfort, kindness, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for operations, service, logistics, and activities
  • Ensuring that the Lodge achieves its financial objectives
  • Ensuring exceptional levels of personalised service, commensurate with the requirements of a luxury 5-Star Lodge

Requirements

  • Matric; and a relevant tertiary Hospitality qualification/degree is essential
  • Previous experience in overseeing the operations of a 5-star lodge is crucial
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in senior Hotel/Lodge management
  • Background in Food and Beverages or Rooms Division Services
  • MS Office Suite proficient

Qualifications
