About the Role
Hire Resolves client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Professional Quantity Surveyor in Witbank, MP. We are looking for an experienced professional to manage the delivery of quantity surveying services on a current project.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage team performance, developing skills, knowledge and capabilities.
- Prepare and review preliminary and detailed estimates of construction cost for budget approvals.
- Assist with tender evaluations, contract clarifications and cost negotiations.
- Monitor, advise and support project controls and contract administration services.
- Lead and support the collation and compilations of contract documentation
Requirements
- B Degree / B Tech / in Quantity Surveying at NQF7 with 360 credits
- 5 years related experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering / Engineering and Construction Contracts / Project Management in the Built environment
- Professional registration with the South African Council for Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS).
