About the Role

Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Water & Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Mpumalanga. As a key member of our water and wastewater treatment plant management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of bulk water supply systems, pipeline conveyance, pump stations, and reticulation design. With 8-10 years of experience in process design or modelling for water and wastewater treatment plants, we are looking for a professional with a strong track record in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and bulk water supply systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage water and wastewater treatment plant projects
• Conduct process design and modelling using EnviroSim BioWin, DHI WEST, or similar software
• Lead meetings and write reports as required
• Develop and implement new technologies to improve system efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
• 8-10 years of experience in process design or modelling for water and wastewater treatment plants
• Proficiency in HECRAS, EPANET, PCSWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and KYPIPE Surge analysis software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
