Job Summary
Electrical Technician (Siemens & Allen Bradley), Mthatha, RNeg + ben+ Company housing
- Matric certificate or Grade 12
- N6 or Equivalent / National Diploma (S4)
- Trade Tested Electrician
- 5 years` post trade test experience in a similar position
- Manufacturing/ heavy industry environment experience
- Good PLC and SCADA knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
- Good instrumentation knowledge
- Good frequency drive knowledge (Allen Bradley and SEW)
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skill
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Commitment to company vision, values, and core philosophies
- Dynamic and innovative
- Good understanding of processes
- Good instrumentation knowledge
DUTIES
- Maintenance on all electrical instrumentation and software programs
- Fault finding and repair on all automation and drive equipment
- Perform changes to base documentation i.e., manuals, P&ID, and all instrumentation drawings
- Identify and inform Team leader of any health or safety hazards in the plant
- Develop operating envelopes and assist the production personnel in compiling and updating operating procedures
- Maintain OHASA standards and ensure high levels of housekeeping
- Perform after hour standby duty on the plan
