Job Summary

Electrical Technician (Siemens & Allen Bradley), Mthatha, RNeg + ben+ Company housing

Matric certificate or Grade 12
N6 or Equivalent / National Diploma (S4)
Trade Tested Electrician
5 years` post trade test experience in a similar position
Manufacturing/ heavy industry environment experience
Good PLC and SCADA knowledge (Allen Bradley and Siemens)
Good instrumentation knowledge
Good frequency drive knowledge (Allen Bradley and SEW)
Computer Literate
Excellent communication skill
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Commitment to company vision, values, and core philosophies
Dynamic and innovative
Good understanding of processes
Good instrumentation knowledge

DUTIES

Maintenance on all electrical instrumentation and software programs
Fault finding and repair on all automation and drive equipment
Perform changes to base documentation i.e., manuals, P&ID, and all instrumentation drawings
Identify and inform Team leader of any health or safety hazards in the plant
Develop operating envelopes and assist the production personnel in compiling and updating operating procedures
Maintain OHASA standards and ensure high levels of housekeeping
Perform after hour standby duty on the plan
