Job Summary

Gr.12 Maths; CompLit/Meat Matrix; 3+ yrs Buyer/Stock Controller spices/ packaging/cleaning/PPE materials/spares/lubricant in food factory. Must reduce stock holding/meet customer demand/ensure enough material for production/able to react/cover any unforeseen issues. Must be aware usages each stock item/supplier of the item/lead time using Meat Matrix/stock reports/work with management on pricing/increase trends for suppliers/meet with suppliers/management to resolve issues/discuss usage trends. With Stores Supervisor do spot checks/ensure correct labels/lot numbers on items/traceability up to date/done on arrival/analise requisitions from Supervisor/clarify orders need to be placed/oversee/manage monthly stock take/report urgent issues re. stock levels/ supply/stores staff/production quality to G.M. Ensure Hyster inspection conducted/checksheet completed daily/report deviation to Engineering department. Participate in Goal alignment/quantum lean/daily mngt subordinates/ensure tasks fullfilled as per SOP/FIFO rotation followed/guide team to resolve stock fault issues/revert to supplier for CA/ensure Production team have sufficient stock/staff members always follow SOPs/health & safety rules. Be able to engage with customers/suppliers/management/staff/keep communication path between stores & production/stores & management/able to report on KPAs/flexible hours/overtime when necessary.
