About the Role
Our client, a highly successful tiling retailer with a showroom based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced Internal Retail Sales Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a strong sales background, excellent customer service skills, and a natural flair for design.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with walk-in clients in the showroom, offering expert advice on tiles, taps, sanitaryware, and related products
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a personalised and professional experience aligned with the brand’s luxury standards
- Assist customers in visualising design concepts and product choices to suit their space and style preferences
- Contribute to maintaining the overall presentation of the showroom ensuring displays, pricing, and promotional materials are up to date and visually appealing
- Collaborate with the broader showroom team to meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Provide after-sales support and ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales, preferably within retail or customer service
- Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed set sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- High attention to detail, able to multitask, great with maths and quotation preparation
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
- Creative flair and a good eye for design and aesthetics
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate
Salary & Benefits
- Basic salary on initial contract followed by a perm appointment with full benefits and profit share. Salary negotiable around R16 000pm.
