About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Lodge Manager for a luxury lodge environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with strong hosting abilities, sound administrative skills, and the confidence to manage lodge operations in the absence of the Lodge Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage lodge operations independently when the Lodge Manager is on leave
- Oversee daily activities, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services
- Supervise and coordinate staff duties and tasks
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Ensure excellent guest experiences and high standards of hospitality
Requirements
- Formal qualification in Hospitality Management
- Minimum 2 years experience in a 4/5-star lodge environment
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
- Computer literate with strong administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to manage and lead staff
- Strong attention to detail
- Good work ethic and professional presentation
Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Hospitality Management (required)
Salary & Benefits
- Gross Salary: R14,000 per month
