About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Assistant to join our team at Olifantsfontein. As a key member of our regulatory department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet all relevant regulatory requirements. With a strong background in scientific disciplines such as chemistry, biology, or soil science, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and monitoring experiments, as well as analyzing trial data.

Key Responsibilities

Continually evaluate and search for improvements to existing products.
Review adaptation of existing products for new applications or other customer markets.
Produce project plans, collecting, recording, analyzing, and interpreting data.
Compile dossiers for registrations, including submissions and collection of documents.
Analyze complicated information, including trial data.
Maintain familiarity with company product ranges and obtain marketing material permissions.
Outline requirements for labelling, storage, and packaging requirements.
Write comprehensive, user-friendly, and clear information leaflets and labels.
Ensure products or services of the Group meet the highest quality standards.
Assist in the implementation of ISO and other quality standards.
Implement the Group vision, mission, and short, medium, and long-term goals.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in assisting the Regulatory Technologist and Regulatory Officer in ensuring regulatory and legislative requirements of products are met via trial and experimental work.
Experience in designing, conducting, and monitoring the effects of experiments/trials plants in the field, glasshouses, and laboratories.
Studying of scientific documents, gathering, evaluating, and collating of trial data.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Soil Science, Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline
