About the Role
The employer is seeking a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to provide effective office support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations through efficient administration, coordination, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering/redirecting all incoming calls and taking messages
- Arrange appointments with clients
- Prepare prospective client files as needed
- General office management assistance
- Receive, direct and relay messages via phone/email
- Handle expenses
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- General administration
- Receiving, distributing, and processing all incoming and outgoing mail
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Computer literate (MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook)
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South African languages
- Multitasking and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
