Job Description

This role involves: Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations Ensuring accurate recording of transactions in accordance with IFRS for GAAP and in line with company accounting policies Preparing cash flow reports and assist with cash flow forecasting Gathering and submitting statutory returns, liaising with SARS as required Supporting preparation of annual financial statements and coordinating year-end audits, ensuring compliance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP requirements for head office reporting Overseeing creditor and debtor processes including approvals, reconciliations, and aging reviews Monitoring actuals against budget and providing variance analysis Supporting ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), including setup, reporting, and process alignment Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the finance function Providing guidance and reviewing the work of junior finance staff. Working closely with operations, procurement, and management to ensure financial alignment Skills & Experience: Minimum 10 years experience Strong knowledge of South African tax and statutory requirements, with an understanding of IFRS and GAAP reporting principles Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environment (advantageous) High attention to detail and accuracy Advanced Excel skills, ERP system experience (requirement) Ability to manage deadlines and work independently Qualification: BCom Accounting (or similar) Completed Articles Contact OKUHLE POKILE on
