About the Role

The Machine Operator role in our Kuilsriver facility requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to support the efficient movement of stock. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Storage (Put-Away)
  • Scan pallet labels at pick-up points
  • Transport and store pallets in designated rack locations
  • Scan rack locations to confirm accurate placement
  • Ensure all movements are correctly recorded via RF system
  • Support receiving operations by transporting pallets from receiving areas
  • Line Building & Replenishment
  • Follow instructions via RF scanner/reader
  • Retrieve pallets from storage locations
  • Deliver stock to designated picking bays
  • Scan pallet and bay locations to confirm accurate placement
  • Ensure pre-release orders are delivered to picking areas timeously
  • Complete all line building instructions accurately
  • Operational Support
  • Work closely with control room and supervisors to ensure stock availability
  • Ensure all tasks are completed and recorded according to operational requirements
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all stock movements

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Grade 10
  • Experience: Proven experience operating MHE equipment (reach truck, forklift, order picker)
  • Valid MHE/Forklift licence (essential)
