About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cost and Finance Administrator to join our team in Paarl, Western Cape. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong accounting knowledge and close attention to detail, looking to grow within a dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of Invoices & Credit Notes: Accurately capture creditor invoices and purchase credit memos via pallet charge assignments.
- Charge Validation: Sense-check logistic charges (Standard vs. Actual) to ensure all deductions from growers are valid and accurate.
- Vendor Account Management: Reconcile month-end vendor balances to statements and allocate invoices/credits daily to ensure timely payments.
- Grower Administration: Maintain grower correspondence, generate individual Producer Grower Reports, and ensure all supporting documentation is correctly displayed on the vendor portal.
- Systems & Reporting: Ensure accurate capture across various ledger accounts to maintain correct cost movements within the financial systems.
- Communication: Maintain a query log for incorrect charges and communicate effectively with management regarding vendor issues.
Requirements
- Education: Matric with foundational Accounting Knowledge
- Qualifications: BCom or Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, Management Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting
- Experience: Completed a degree/diploma foundation. No prior work experience is necessary; training will be provided
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Salary & Benefits
Salary: R15 000 – R18 000 per month (to be discussed based on entry-level nature of the role, previous experience, and qualifications).
