About the Role
Fouche & Co Recruitment is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team in Pinetown. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating engaging graphics and visual content across various digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency and delivering high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Asset Creation: Design engaging graphics for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), websites, and digital advertising campaigns.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure visual and creative consistency across all brands within the Group, adhering strictly to corporate identity (CI) guidelines.
- Marketing Collateral: Create high-quality designs for event collateral, dealership signage, print adverts, and internal communication.
- Campaign Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visual themes for seasonal campaigns, launches, and activations.
- Content Formatting: Repurpose existing visual assets for use across multiple digital channels and screen formats.
- Layout Management: Oversee the positioning and design flow of web banners and landing page elements to ensure a premium user experience.
- Deadline Management: Deliver high-quality design work under tight deadlines without compromising on accuracy or detail.
Requirements
- Technical Mastery: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar professional design software.
- Visual Hierarchy: A strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
- Detail Oriented: A “perfectionist” approach to design—ensuring every pixel is aligned and every file is export-ready.
- Adaptability: The ability to switch between multiple brand identities and styles within the same workday.
- Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of design requests simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design (agency, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods background preferred).
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and print work.
- Environment: Proven experience working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
