Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced Principal of Luxury Short-Term Holiday Rentals to lead their team, drive business growth, and ensure they consistently exceed client expectations. Working in-between Plettenberg Bay & Cape Town. Overview As Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company. Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, you will develop strategic initiatives, oversee daily operations, and drive growth in the luxury rental market. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning – Collaborate with the Managing Director to create and implement long-term strategies to enhance market position and achieve financial growth. Financial Management – Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and meet financial goals. Operations Oversight – Identify new properties and onboard homeowners through villa visits or cold calling. Manage day-to-day operations, including property management, guest relations, maintenance, and leasing activities. Team Leadership – Lead, mentor, and inspire the team while fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development. Market Analysis – Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities for expansion, and competitive positioning in the luxury rental market. Client Relations – Build strong relationships with property owners, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all operations comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to real estate management. Marketing Strategy – Develop innovative marketing campaigns with the Managing Director to attract clients and enhance brand presence. Property Acquisition & Development – Identify potential properties for acquisition or development that align with strategic goals. Risk Management – Assess risks related to property management and implement mitigation strategies. Reporting & Analytics – Prepare reports on operational performance metrics and analyse data to inform decision-making. Conflict Resolution – Address disputes or issues between clients or staff professionally and effectively. Technology Integration – Leverage property management and guest communication platforms to improve operational efficiency. Networking & Partnerships – Establish partnerships with businesses or organizations offering value-added services to enhance opportunities. Sustainability Initiatives – Promote environmentally sustainable practices in managed properties where applicable. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelorâ??s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate Management, Hospitality, or a related field (Masterâ??s preferred). PPRA Principal status / NQF Level 5 / PDE5. FFC accredited. Proven experience in real estate management or luxury rentals. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams effectively. Excellent financial acumen and experience in budgeting and forecasting. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong market analysis and data-driven decision-making skills. Proficiency in property management software is a plus. Passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a luxury environment. Positive attitude and kind personality. Own reliable transport a must Working hours 09h00 to 17h00, however the Principal must provide high flexibility. What They Offer
Salary:
R36Kâ??R44K with commission based on percentage increase in acquisitions and bookings. (Only negotiable on excellent candidates) Competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses.
