Job Title: Executive Chef KZN Location: KwaZulu Natal, Zululand District, Pongola Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Job Duties: Lead and manage the culinary team Develop menus and create new dishes Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation Oversee kitchen operations and maintain food safety standards Manage inventory and control food costs Required Qualifications: Proven experience as an Executive Chef Culinary qualifications or relevant degree Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques Strong leadership and communication skills Proven track record with expectional references Education: Culinary qualifications or relevant degree Experience: Proven experience as an Executive Chef Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of food safety standards Creativity in menu planning and dish creation Strong leadership and team management abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in culinary arts Experience in high-end dining establishments Knowledge of local and international cuisines Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment Possibly a 6 week on 2 week off cycle This is for a new property opening next year and employment will only be in April 2026.
