Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination of daily operational logistics at the lodge to ensure smooth and efficient guest and operational movement. This junior role supports the Logistics Manager and focuses on managing guest transfers, coordinating vehicles for activities, assisting with security oversight, and supporting back-of-house operations. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple lodge departments.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate guest transfers to and from the lodge, airstrips, and external activity locations.

Manage vehicle schedules to ensure availability for guest activities, staff transport, and operational needs.

Assist with vehicle allocation and ensure vehicles are prepared and ready for use.

Maintain communication with guides, drivers, and operational teams regarding transfer schedules and changes.

Assist with coordinating logistics for guest activities and excursions.

Support the Logistics Manager with general lodge operational coordination.

Assist with security oversight by monitoring access points and reporting any concerns.

Maintain accurate records of transfers, vehicle usage, and operational logistics.

Assist with back-of-house coordination between departments to ensure smooth daily operations.

Support problem-solving for any logistical challenges that may arise during daily lodge operations.
Requirements

Diploma or certificate in Tourism, Hospitality, Logistics, or a related field is advantageouS OR Previous experience in hospitality, lodge operations, or logistics coordination is beneficial but not essential.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Good communication and coordination ability.

Basic computer literacy and administrative skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Valid drivers licence preferred.

Willingness to live and work in a remote lodge environment if required.
