The Role: Audit Firm Manager As the Audit Firm Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, direction, and management of the firm’s audit operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with professional standards, maintaining quality across all engagements, and driving client satisfaction. This senior role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, empowering teams and strengthening the firm’s market position. Key Responsibilities Oversee and ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance across all audit and assurance engagements. Implement best practice methodologies and manage internal quality review processes. Build and sustain long-term client relationships through effective communication and trusted delivery. Oversee audit planning, execution, and final reporting, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. Provide strategic insights and technical support on complex audit and financial issues. Identify opportunities for business growth, client expansion, and new service offerings. Lead, mentor, and develop teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning. Manage capacity planning, training, and professional development within the department. About You CA(SA) qualification and SAICA registration (essential). Registered Assessor with IRBA. Minimum of 5 years management experience in a professional audit firm. Strong technical knowledge of audit standards, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks. Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams. Excellent client relationship, communication, and business development skills. Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
