Our client operating in the FMCG / Meat industry, is seeking to employ a Dispatch Supervisor with strong butchery experience to join their team in Markman, Gqeberha.
(Proven butchery experience within a fresh meat or food production environment advantageous)

Proven butchery experience within a fresh meat or food production environment.

3 – 4 years’ experience in dispatch, stock control, and order picking.

Strong understanding of meat quality standards, food safety, and cold chain compliance.

Ability to supervise staff, manage workflow, and maintain productivity.
-
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational setting.
-
Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately pick, prepare, and dispatch customer orders in line with daily schedules.

Conduct regular stock checks, FIFO rotation, and inventory control.

Perform final quality inspections before goods leave the facility.
-
Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and cold chain requirements.

Supervise fresh meat production activities when not actively dispatching orders.

Monitor staff performance and ensure production targets are met.

Maintain clean, organised, and compliant working areas.

Report quality issues, stock variances, and operational concerns to management.
