Position: General Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our dynamic team. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader with a strong operational background in the transport and logistics sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving efficiency, managing key operational areas, and ensuring the continued growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, with a core focus on:

Transport Operations: Strategic planning, execution, and optimization of all transport activities, including route planning, scheduling, and delivery efficiency.
Shuttle and Luxury Bus Services: Management and enhancement of our shuttle and luxury bus services, ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Financial Oversight: Overseeing accounts, budgeting, and financial performance to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability.
Fuel Management: Implementing strategies for efficient fuel consumption, procurement, and cost control.
People Management: Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Vehicle Management: Ensuring the optimal maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of our diverse fleet.
Fleet Management: Strategic planning and management of the entire vehicle fleet, including acquisition, deployment, and disposal.
Administrative and HR: Conducting disciplinary hearings when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in a senior management role within the transport and logistics industry.
Must have HR background with clear understanding of Labour Laws.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Operational Expertise: In-depth knowledge of transport operations, fleet management, and logistics best practices.
Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and cost control.
Work Ethic: Willingness to work long hours as required to meet operational demands and achieve company objectives.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
