Job Summary
Our client is currently looking to employ a Graduate Junior Bookkeeper based in North End, Port Elizabeth.
Contract: 3-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of permanent employment upon review.
Salary: R8,000 R12,000 CTC per month.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
- Matric certificate with Accounting, Business Studies, and Computer Applications Technology (CAT).
- A tertiary qualification (completed or in progress) will be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- Perform basic bookkeeping functions.
- Provide general administrative and financial support.
- Assist the finance team with basic bookkeeping and data entry.
- Organize and maintain filing systems and financial documentation.
- Liaise professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the role evolves with business needs.
