About the Role
Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently looking to employ an Industrial Engineer to their team based in Port Elizabeth. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and optimise production systems by applying systematic approaches to boost productivity and profitability.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of operations across the value stream.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects across the entire value stream related to process improvements, change management and product launches.
- Evaluate production KPIs for continuous improvement and to guide decision-making (e.g. OEE, TEEP, etc.).
- Perform product cost calculations.
Requirements
- National Diploma/Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 5 to 10 Years experience
- 5 years of professional experience in production (IE, MP, SCM)
- Experience in project management
- Strong affinity for manufacturing processes, especially in serial production environments
- Social and intercultural competence
- Knowledge in Lean as well as good knowledge in project management
- Very good knowledge of SAP EP1/S4
Qualifications
National Diploma/Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
