About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Profile Personnel in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will assist in developing, implementing, and coordinating marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic, increase brand awareness, and create an engaging customer experience for a shopping center.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, executing, and managing marketing campaigns to increase customer engagement and sales.
- Work with external agencies and partners to develop creative assets, promotional materials, and advertisements.
- Coordinate seasonal and promotional events to maximize traffic and sales.
- Manage social media accounts and ensure content aligns with the brand’s voice.
- Develop content for digital platforms, including websites, email newsletters, and social media channels (e.g. FB/Instagram/Tiktok).
- Track and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Ensure consistency in the marketing materials and communications for the shopping center’s branding.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials (e.g., flyers, posters, newsletters) for events, and special promotions.
- Organize and promote community events, store openings, and in-centre promotions.
- Build relationships with tenants and assist with their individual marketing needs.
- Coordinate loyalty programs, contests, and giveaways to drive foot traffic and customer engagement.
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities, customer insights, and foot traffic data to assess campaign success.
- Coordinate logistics for in-centre events, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to budget.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in retail or shopping centers.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, social media, and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
