Job Description
Our client in the Engineering field is currently looking to employ a PV Test Technician. This is an entry level role based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Certificate/National Diploma (T3/N6), National Diploma in Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering.
- Good English proficiency.
- Valid Drivers License with at least 1 years driving experience.
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Office: Teams; Word; Outlook).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including data entry, formulas, filtering and basic charting.
- South African Citizen.
- Hands on and practical.
The following will be beneficial but not a requirement:
- Previous experience with PV systems.
- Previous experience with PV test equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with testing of PV modules, including Power measurements, imaging using different techniques,
visual inspection and electrical insulation testing. - Preforming onsite PV tests including Power measurements and imaging techniques.
- Preforming onsite PV plant inspections.
- Perform pre-onsite equipment checks and preparation of equipment under supervision for on-site
projects. - Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Assist with sample receiving and handling.
- Assist in lab activities and assist with processing of test data, basic analysis of results and generating
reports. - General Housekeeping and assistance.
