About the Role
Our client, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, is seeking to employ an experienced and dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead business growth in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Solar PV sector across South Africa and Southern Africa. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and lead generation strategy for the C&I Solar PV market.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and client sectors.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to position the company competitively.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, presentations, and events to promote company services and brand presence.
- Build and manage a qualified lead pipeline within the commercial and industrial market.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client proposals.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure conversion and retention.
Requirements
- Proven marketing and business development experience, ideally within the renewable energy or electrical industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, market dynamics, and commercial project environments.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation, client relationship management, and sales conversion.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Financial awareness and ability to plan marketing activities aligned with profitability goals.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or Communications advantageous.
