Potchefstroom: Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment & Vehicles

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles and heavy equipment, ensuring all machinery is safe and operating optimally. Key Duties: Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment. Carry out preventative maintenance programs for machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently and accurately. Ensure vehicles and equipment remain in safe, optimal working condition. Requirements: NQF 4 / N1N3 qualification with 35 years experience as a mechanic. Trade Test qualification (Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic). Hands-on experience with forklifts, telehandlers, yellow machines, cranes, trucks, trailers, tractors, TMM machines, and engine rebuilds. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of hydraulics and auto-electrical systems. Fluent in English and Afrikaans (read, write, speak). Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
