Job Description

As the Accountant , you will form part of a dedicated finance team based in Pretoria East and take responsibility for overseeing the full accounting function, while managing the bookkeeper, debtors, and creditors teams. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who thrives in a commercial environment, enjoys leading a team, and is passionate about maintaining strong financial controls and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the full accounting function Managing and supporting the bookkeeper, debtors, and creditors staff Reviewing monthly reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial records Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports Budgeting and forecasting support Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies Assisting with audits and year-end processes Driving process improvements within the finance department Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom degree in Accounting or a related field (essential) Minimum 5 years commercial experience Proven experience managing finance staff (bookkeeper, debtors, and creditors) Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting Advanced MS Excel proficiency Strong leadership and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment Excellent communication skills Apply now!
