About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Attorney to join our team in Pretoria. As a seasoned professional with a proven track record in general litigation, you will be responsible for managing and running your own caseload across various matters, including construction-related law and civil disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and run own caseload across general litigation matters independently
- Advise clients on legal aspects with a focus on construction-related law and civil disputes
- Draft, prepare, and review legal documents and contracts relevant to construction and litigation
- Attend court, mediation, and arbitration sessions as required
- Maintain professional client relationships and support colleagues when necessary
Requirements
- Admitted as an Attorney in South Africa
- Minimum 2 to 4 years’ post-admission experience
- Practical experience in General Litigation
- Prior exposure to or expertise in Construction Law is highly regarded
- Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English (read, write, and speak)
- Must possess a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel
Qualifications
- Completed LLB Degree
