About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Pretoria. As a proven new-business hunter with a background in logistics, transport, fleet, or truck sales, you will be responsible for winning new commercial business in a competitive market. This is a field-based, target-driven sales role requiring consistent prospecting, pipeline development, and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively sourcing and securing new fleet and commercial clients
- Building, managing, and maintaining a robust sales pipeline
- Managing the full sales cycle from cold prospecting to close
- Engaging decision-makers and growing long-term commercial relationships
- Taking full ownership of targets, activity levels, and results
Requirements
- Proven new-business sales experience (hunter role)
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
- Background in logistics, transport, fleet, or truck sales
- Comfortable with cold calling, door knocking, and self-generated leads
- Strong commercial and negotiation ability
- Self-disciplined, structured, and performance-driven

Salary & Benefits
Competitive basic salary, uncapped commission (no ceiling on earnings), fuel card (280 litres per month), medical aid and pension fund, laptop and 3G connectivity provided, car allowance can be structured into TCOE, vehicle tracking device installed (no cost) for demos, activity tracking, and SARS compliance.
Working Model
Primarily remote / field-based. Weekly in-person sales meeting required. Office attendance expected when not in client meetings.
