Job Summary

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION: Matric or equivalent qualification with advanced computer literacy. 1- 2 years in the similar environment. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Ability to capture and access data on computer systems Ability to work under pressure Good communication, typing and writing skills Computer literacy. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Receive, record, open and sort mail. Courier collection from Council drop-off area at reception. Create patch codes for received mail. Create distribution lists and distribute mail received. Print registration packages and package for dispatch. Correctly dispatch outgoing mail using the appropriate mode (courier, registered post, normal post). Follow up on dispatched shipments and attend to problem shipments. Create cases for Return to sender mail. Document retrieval. Capture change of data and notice of death on EBS and OSVC. Prepare and quality assure documents for scanning. Scanning documents for offsite storage. Attend to all telephonic and e-mail enquiries.
