About the Role
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Chief Information Officer (CIO) will be responsible for leading our organisation’s technology strategy, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of internal information systems that support facilities operations and the workforce. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, networks, servers, end-user computing, and connectivity, as well as experience with operational technology (OT) used in facilities and buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity: Ensure the security of internal information systems and protect against cyber threats.
- Data Management: Oversee data integration and governance across various systems, including ERP, CMMS, AI, FSM, and financial systems.
- OT System Integration: Secure and effective integration between OT platforms and enterprise IT systems.
- Technology Standards: Develop and implement technology standards that ensure interoperability and compliance with vendor standards.
- ROI: Accountable for ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value.
- Service Delivery and Client Experience: Ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- 20 years of experience required, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, networks, servers, end-user computing, and connectivity.
- Facilities / Telco / Property Management experience is beneficial.
- Master’s Degree (advantageous), MBA (Master of Business Administration), or MSc in Computer Science / IT Engineering-related postgraduate qualification.
