We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst with experience in internal sales to join our data team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting to help drive business development, operations and efficiency within the organization. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities:

Data Collection & Extraction:
• Gather data from various internal and external sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and web applications
• Assist in automating data extraction processes to improve efficiency

Data Cleaning & Preparation:
• Clean and preprocess raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Identify and correct data discrepancies, missing values, and outliers

Data Analysis:
• Conduct basic statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Use tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R to analyse data sets and generate reports

Reporting & Visualization:
• Create and maintain dashboards, charts, and other visual representations of data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
• Prepare and present reports to senior analysts and other stakeholders

Collaboration:
• Work closely with senior analysts, data engineers, and other departments to understand data needs and provide support
• Participate in meetings to discuss findings and recommend actionable insights

Documentation:
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data processes, methodologies, and analyse
• Contribute to the development of data standards and best practices

Key requirements:
• Matric is essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
• Previous experience or internships in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles
• 2+ Years experience in internal sales
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases
• Familiarity with data analysis tools like Python, R, or similar
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Valid driver’s license & own transport essential
