(eng= Data Analyst (Retail) Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst (Retail) to join their Head Office team. This role is critical in transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic and operational decision-making across the Financial and Retail divisions. The successful candidate will report to the Credit Data Specialist and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Salary: R35 000 cost to company Location: Pretoria-East Start Date: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities: Develop insightful reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Analyse sales and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and optimisation opportunities. Compile and distribute statistical data for the Financial and Retail divisions on a regular basis. Extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources, including SQL-based databases. Support database administration, performance optimisation, and data security initiatives. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability. Design and maintain data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Translate business requirements and objectives into actionable data analysis projects. Provide data-driven insights to cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT. Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by management. Minimum Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 qualification. Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics , OR at least 3 years relevant experience within the FMCG / retail environment. Solid understanding of data analytics concepts. Data analytics certification OR proven experience in data analysis and visualisation. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel. Advanced experience with Power BI, Tableau , or similar data visualisation tools. Experience with SQL and relational databases will be advantageous. Knowledge of data engineering concepts and Python will be beneficial. Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (written and verbal communication). Assisteer met ad hoc take soos deur bestuur opgedra. Minimum Vereistes: Minimum Graad 12 . Relevante tersiêre kwalifikasie in Besigheid, Finansies, Rekeningkunde of Ekonomie , OF minstens 3 jaar toepaslike ervaring in die FMCG-/kleinhandelbedryf. Goeie begrip van data-analise konsepte. Data-analise sertifikaat OF bewese ervaring in data-analise en visualisering. Sterk vaardigheid in MS Office , veral Excel. Gevorderde ervaring met Power BI, Tableau of soortgelyke instrumente. Ervaring met SQL en databasisomgewings sal voordelig wees. Kennis van data-ingenieurskonsepte en Python sal as n voordeel dien. Ten volle tweetalig in Afrikaans en Engels (geskrewe en mondelinge kommunikasie). Sleutel-eienskappe: Uitstekende analitiese en probleemoplossingsvaardighede. Hoë vlak van akkuraatheid en aandag aan detail. Sterk kommunikasievaardighede om komplekse data eenvoudig oor te dra. Vermoë om onafhanklik te werk en verskeie take gelyktydig te bestuur.
