Pretoria: Draughtsman

Minimum Requirements: 2 years of relevant experience as a Draughtsperson working with structures Diploma or degree in Drafting or a related field would be beneficial but not a must Detailing bridges and culverts experience would be highly beneficial Advanced proficiency in Revit, Civil3D, and AutoCAD Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel Basic report writing skills Strong technical drawing skills with keen attention to detail Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes Proactive and problem-solving mindset Effective communication and teamwork skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Duties will be, but are not limited to: Prepare detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software Convert rough sketches and specifications into precise, accurate, and detailed drawings Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives Review and modify drawings to correct errors or discrepancies Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards Coordinate and communicate effectively with the project team to meet deadlines and milestones Maintain accurate documentation of drawings and design changes Continuously improve drafting techniques and stay updated with industry trends and advancements If you are passionate about technical precision and eager to contribute to exciting projects, then this is for you Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
