Job Summary
Please note this position is better suited to students. Thus, applicants whom are currently studying after completing High School will be favored.
Requirements:
– Matric- Fluent English, Afrikaans advantageous- Attentive to detail- Neat- Good communication skills – Can work under pressure – Able to multitask- Passion for animalsGeneral
Responsibilities:
– Sales (including up-selling)- Customer service, advice and dealing with customer complaints- Maintenance of stock levels (including but not limited to stock take, ordering of stock, receiving stock)- General organisation, tidiness and cleanliness of shop (including but not limited to packing shelves, washing floors, dusting shelves)- Financial duties (including but not limited to daily cash ups, basic book keeping)- Maintaining a good knowledge of the items sold in the store. When necessary, the extent of this knowledge may be assessed. – Staff training (of new staff)- Safe guarding of company assets while you are on duty.
