<p><strong>Hospitality business</strong> based in <strong>Capital Park, Pretoria</strong> is looking for a <strong>HR Administrator </strong>to provide <strong>administrative support</strong> across various <strong>human resources functions</strong> including <strong>recruitment, onboarding, employee benefits, training</strong> coordination, <strong>document management</strong> and <strong>system updates.</strong></p><p>This role ensures smooth human resources <strong>operations </strong>and<strong> compliance</strong> with internal policies.</p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p><strong>Recruitment and selection:</strong></p><p>Advertise vacancies on LinkedIn and other internal and external platforms.</p><p>Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on minimum requirements.</p><p>Schedule interview with the relevant HOD and HR Manager.</p><p>Regret unsuccessful applicants.</p><p>Maintain recruitment records.</p><p><strong>Onboarding and induction:</strong></p><p>Liaise with line management to prepare, order and organise workstations, equipment, stationery and log-in credentials for new hires.</p><p>Announce new employees to the teams.</p><p>Introduce new employees to key stakeholders.</p><p>Conduct site tours and safety inductions.</p><p>Ensure completion of all onboarding and relevant new hire documentation.</p><p>Assist to order uniform and issue name badges.</p><p><strong>Employee benefit administration:</strong></p><p>Enrol new employees in medical and provident fund schemes.</p><p>Handle amendments, such as dependent changes and corrections.</p><p>Terminations from the medical and provident find schemes.</p><p><strong>Training administration and coordination:</strong></p><p>In collaboration with the Operations Manager and Operations Administrator, book training sessions and coordinate with training providers. Reserve training venues and manage training logistics.</p><p>Administer training records and update catering spreadsheets.</p><p>Collect and update portfolios of evidence for assessments.</p><p><strong>Staff travel:</strong></p><p>Book flights, accommodation, transfers, etc. for employees who travel.</p><p>Arrange after hours staff transport.</p><p>Manage employee passports and visa applications.</p><p><strong>Human resources systems:</strong></p><p>Load new employee on Jarrison and activate their fingerprints.</p><p>Terminate employees on Jarrison.</p><p>Update employee details on MySHEQ as relevant.</p><p>Conduct regular file audits and ensure all employee documentation is uploaded to Payspace and removed from MySHEQ DMS (Must be copied over).</p><p>Overall, ESS (Employee self-service) support to employees.</p><p><strong>General and Administration:</strong></p><p>Maintain accurate and complete employee records.</p><p>Order name badges for all staff.</p><p>Injury on duty support to the health and safety manager and management team on required and outstanding documentation.</p><p>Handle acknowledgement of debt forms for employees.</p><p>Do petty-cash follow-ups once approved.</p><p>Allocate pigeon-holes.</p><p>Annual archiving.</p><p>Support the HR Manager(s) with ad-hoc functions and projects.</p><p>Work related typing, printing, copying, scanning and emailing.</p><p>Making and receiving phone calls.</p><p>Filing.</p><p>Keep up to date with any legislative and/or other requirements that will impact on this position and the organisation as a whole.</p><p>Any other reasonable tasks as requested from time to time.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.</p><p>Degree or diploma in human resources or similar qualification in related field.</p><p>Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience in human resources administration.</p><p>Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and human resources best practices.</p><p>Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge and skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive).</p><p>Proficiency in HR and other systems (Payspace, Jarrison, mySHEQ, Sage, Microsoft Office).</p><p>Excellent team collaboration and interpersonal skills.</p><p>Strong organisational, time-management and multi-tasking skills.</p><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>High level of integrity and confidentiality.</p><p>Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.</p><p>Strong problem-solving skill.</p><p>Ability to take initiative in line with mandated authority.</p><p>Assertive.</p><p>Clear criminal and credit record.</p>
