About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC / Air Conditioning Technician to join our client’s technical team in Pretoria. As a hands-on, technically skilled individual with strong fault-finding abilities, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning and HVAC systems in various environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on split units, VRV/VRF systems, and ducted systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and compliance inspections
- Ensure installations comply with safety and regulatory standards
- Complete job cards and technical reports accurately
- Liaise with clients professionally on-site
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles properly
Requirements
- Relevant HVAC / Refrigeration qualification (Trade Test / Diploma / NQF equivalent)
- Valid Refrigerant Gas Handling License
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in HVAC / Air Conditioning
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Physically fit and able to work at heights where required
