About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team at HotelJobs in Pretoria. As a key member of our marketing team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within a luxury hospitality brand with six international properties. Your role will involve managing and updating social media profiles for all six properties, assisting with digital marketing campaigns, and maintaining property listings on booking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update social media profiles for all six properties (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Set up and optimize audience targeting on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns, including content creation, email marketing, and online advertising
- Maintain and optimize property listings on booking platforms (Apply Below, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.)
- Help create and edit visual content for social media, website, and marketing materials
- Provide general marketing assistance and daily administrative support to the Marketing Manager
- Help ensure brand consistency and assist with promotional initiatives across all properties
Requirements
- Recently completed a Digital Marketing course or similar qualification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media marketing and audience targeting on Instagram and Facebook
- Graphic design skills, including proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, or similar tools, are essential
- Photography skills are a plus but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
- Detail-oriented; organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
