About the Role
We are seeking a commercially astute and technically strong Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth across our engineered product portfolio while expanding into new high-volume industrial markets. As a seasoned professional with a proven track record of opening new markets, securing long-term B2B contracts, and managing complex technical sales cycles, you will leverage our advanced in-house capabilities to unlock sustainable revenue streams across automotive and diversified industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a clear commercial strategy to expand existing engineered product lines across OEM, OES, and aftermarket channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, fleet operators, and industrial customers.
• Identify new customer segments and growth opportunities through structured market analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support new product introductions and customised solutions.
• Drive customer acquisition within sectors requiring durable, performance-driven engineered assemblies.
• Identify opportunities in automotive, industrial engine, agricultural, off-highway, and related markets.
• Partner with technical teams to deliver compliant, fit-for-purpose solutions aligned with evolving regulatory and performance requirements.
• Monitor global and regional industry trends that influence demand for engineered systems.
Requirements
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- 8–12 years’ experience in business development, technical sales, or key account management within automotive, engineering, mining, renewable energy, or metal fabrication industries.
- Demonstrated success in securing new B2B customers, developing new markets or product categories, managing long-cycle technical sales processes, and negotiating large-volume supply agreements.

- Engineering, technical, or business qualification preferred.
