About the Role
Network Finance, a forward-thinking organisation within the specialty chemicals and industrial water treatment industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment while supporting operations based in Pretoria (PTA). The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions through accurate reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making
Requirements
- BCom and Articles qualification (non-negotiable)
- 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Exposure to the Big 4 companies (directly or through audit)
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and IFRS
- Experience within manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, or related industries advantageous
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently within a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively
