Job Description

Role PurposeThis a senior OD Specialist with extensive experience in Design and Development of organisational structure. The role’s mission is to ensure every role is designed for maximum impact, classified fairly, and aligned with a long-term workforce strategy that anticipates tomorrows challenges.Key Responsibilities1. Job Data Collection & AnalysisConduct comprehensive job analysis via interviews, observations, and structured surveys (PAQs) to understand core duties and requirements.Translate raw data into actionable insights regarding role overlap, efficiency gaps, and departmental bottlenecks.2. Job Design & Description DevelopmentPartner with leadership to design roles that balance organizational needs with employee engagement and productivity.Draft high-quality, standardized job descriptions that clearly define accountabilities, competencies, and KPIs.3. Job Evaluation & ClassificationAdminister and maintain the organizations job evaluation system (e.g., Hay Method, Mercer, or internal point-factor systems).Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness by classifying roles into appropriate pay grades and career families.4. Other Research and benchmarking.Change management.Project management.Registration with professional bodies.Experience: 6+ years in OD, Job Analysis or Human Capital Consulting with a heavy focus on job architecture.NB: Attach qualification and accreditation certified within SIX months with CV.
